Strengthening the Omnichannel Strategy

Our assignment was to implement a new company website with a commerce solution for the leather goods dealer Neuenschwander. With an innovative technological approach, we integrated the world's largest commerce solution Shopify Headless and thus gave the starting signal for Neuenschwander's omnichannel strategy.

Unbeatable Technology Stack 

We decided on a unique technical setup consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and in-house development. The publishing of the website content is done via the slim file-based CMS Statamic, whereby we have extended the template engine in order to be able to easily output product data. The product master data is maintained and managed in Shopify. To provide a seamless user experience, we developed a shopping cart with Vue.js, which retrieves product data via an API. A convincing solution with a lean budget.

Shop-Performance thanks to Caching

The checkout process is very clear and achieves its goal in just a few steps. The purchase process, which is reduced to the essentials, leads to a positive shopping experience for the customer and reduces the bounce rate. As a consequence, shop owner Heimat is able to enjoy much higher conversion rates.

Digital Transformation

With the new strategy, the digital sales channel is to be continuously expanded and strengthened. To this end, we have laid a conceptually and technologically sound basis for the gradual expansion of our e-commerce efforts with the new web shop. An ingenious solution for SMEs with more manageable digitalization budgets.

Omnichannel massively strengthened 

The aforementioned goal for the new development was to use the website as a starting point for various online marketing measures and campaigns and thus bring more visitors to the physical location. Thanks to the expandability of the website - for example, campaign landing pages or thematic content in the blog, search engine-optimized copywriting and Adwords campaigns - the possibilities are now almost limitless.
