Relaunch Radiooncology Center Biel

A 3D Journey That Helps Patients Understand Their Treatment

For the Radioonkologie-Zentrum Biel, we created a highly interactive website designed to reduce anxiety and uncertainty for cancer patients by showing them exactly what to expect during their treatment journey.

Using Blender, we developed a detailed 3D model of the clinic environment that guides patients through each step of their radiotherapy experience. The model is optimized to just 5 MB, ensuring accessibility even on slower connections through incremental loading and smart caching.

A full day of on-site video production allowed us to capture the Chief Medical Officer personally explaining each phase of the treatment. These videos are seamlessly integrated within the 3D environment, creating a guided, human-centered experience directly inside the virtual clinic. The immersive drone intro transitions smoothly into this interactive world, where storytelling, design, and technology work hand in hand.

The result is more than just a website — it's a digital companion that helps people navigate one of life’s most difficult journeys with greater confidence and clarity. We're proud that this technical achievement serves a meaningful purpose.

Animation enlivens the website at certain points. The page transition from Home to the detail page is both playful and subtle.

We opted for a horizontal scroll experience from Home for the staging. The content story is thus displayed across the entire width of the browser, allowing the content to be shown very prominently.
